Our Beginning in 1967 – Pizza Shoppe Story
The year was 1967 in Platte Woods, Missouri. Our founder, Dick Ryan, saw that his community wanted great pizza and a place to gather. He opened Pizza Shoppe to bring people together over simple, good food and friendly service that feels like home.From the start, Pizza Shoppe was more than a place to eat. Dick Ryan created a warm space where everyone felt welcome. With true Kansas City hospitality, families and friends could relax, share meals, and make memories together.
